![]() ![]() "Dont worry sweetie i wont hurt y-" His sentence was interrupted by the sound of a gun shot. Slowly he stood up and turned to face her. He most likely figuring she was nothing more than a little girl who he could eat. Nami deciding to play along gave the man a sort of shy look, bending her head down and bringing her hands behind her back without a response which made the ghoul smile just a little and let his guard down. ![]() "Huh?! w-what are you doing here little girl?" the ghoul asked with a good amount of caution and a small amount of hunger in his tone. The ghoul had quickly stopped eating not long after Nami had come upon him and looked back to see the child. His chest ripped wide open, blood still dripping from his mouth and terror frozen in his now dead eyes. a lowly ghoul who was eating what looked like a business man. soon rounding a corner behind the building to her left she stopped as she came upon the sight of her prey. Then as if nothing had happened she turned down a dark alley and skipped down it. ![]() the sound of ripping flesh and breaking bones." she said softly before letting out a cute childish giggle. Taking a second to listen closely her lips soon spread wide in a rather crazed smile. abruptly she stopped though as a familiar sound reached her ear. Humming a tune from her favorite cartoon show as she lightly skipped down the street. It had been a quiet day for Nami, no big robberies or such, though she had been asked to report to the 1st ward later today she had decided to hopefully catch a couple ghouls before she had to leave. "Yo, you there, Sasaki Haise, is that you," he asked while holding out his hand, "the name's Leon, I'll be working with you from here on out." The other CCG worker acknowledged him and ran off to fulfill his other duties around the CCG Office. "There he is, Kennedy-san," the faculty member said to him. They passed through to several halls until they came across one of the investigators that he wanted to see. After a few minutes of discussion between the man and the chairman, the man was then lead to the CCG Training Center to meet two special investigators that would make up this man's new squad in Japan. He approached the receptionist desk and was immediately directed to the elevators and to another room by another faculty member to the Chairman's room. Upon reaching the security gate, the man held up a badge and was casually let through into the building without a single word exchanged between the man and the guards. The man emerged from the driver's side and strode on through into the offices within the glass encased building. The vehicle drove into the garage of the Japanese CCG Office in Tokyo. His medium length dark blonde hair, draped over one eye was sort a dead giveaway. People stared at him and realized that the man was some sort of foreigner. A figure dressed in a dark collared shirt paired with a black leather jacket with white stripes and dark blue jeans was at the wheel of the reckless vehicle. A Ford Mustang painted navy blue with white racing stripes sped up and down the streets and through traffic at blistering speeds. Secondly is that while 8x is the supposed upper limit of strength, that is likely the equivalent of a human compared to an Olympic tier athlete (and probably a bit of propagandistic fluff from the CCG), and is more likely that the average ghoul tops out far below that.It was day time, the light shone through the streets and alleyways throughout the different districts in Tokyo. First is to note that investigators are more than willing to throw bodies at a problem until they reach success. Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer. Also noteworthy is the mindset of many of the ghouls going into fights against humans they look down on them, fail to see or respect them as equals on the playing field and thus we see many ghouls biting off more than they can chew. Also think about tactics we don't see battle tactics much more complex than 'smash in, hold the line, smash out' (granted, Mordin Solus would be proud). Where the average ghoul is a killer, simply being a killer does not mean one has skills that would apply to fighting a trained opponent. First is that basically all Investigators are implied to be heavily trained, whereas the average ghoul.is not. If we're playing the game of realism, I'd have to put it between three factors. ![]()
